In Wilkes-Barre, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Pennsylvania vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 8:30 am–5:30 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Wilkes-Barre is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Wilkes-Barre is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

if i could give 0 starts i would. dave the β€œ ring leader β€œ is a HORRIBLE person. his costumer service is DISGUSTING. he quite literally sits in a chair all day throwing orders at people ( costumers as well ). i took my car in to get looked at. my car was supposed to be finished in ONE day. it took them almost two weeks. he constantly lied about pricing & about what they were doing. wednesday my entire car was fixed & thursday i would be getting an inspection after having it for over a week. he LIED. my car was never fixed or looked at. after everything done he tried to up the price on us not realizing he already quoted us. i took my car back yesterday because they did not fix the problem & actually made it worse. he proceeded to get very defensive & argumentative when told they messed something up. he proceeded to curse me out ( im a 19 y/o female ) & when told by my father not to speak to me that way he got in my dads face & cursed him out & kicked us out. he tried to charge us double for something they messed up. with all that being said, i cant wait to file a report on him & get my money back. hes ridiculous & his workers dont deserve how he treats them.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Went in for a noise my car was making got it there they said my belt needed to be replaced. I asked if that would stop the noise they said yes! Sat while they did the work, I paid, and left. I don’t even get a block away and the car is still making the noise so I go back. I get there tell the girl it’s still making noise she goes back talks to the mechanic and she comes back and says oh he said while he was changing your belt it looked like your pulley might need to be replaced. I was confused because why not tell me that before I left instead of having me leave thinking you fixed the issue but now you’re saying the issue is something else! Anyway they order the part I leave and come back so they can do the rest of the work. After I left the noise did stop but driving the car felt worse then when I brought it to them smh. Less than 2 weeks later I’m stuck on the side of the road! The belt that they replace was hanging off and the pulley completely came off my alternator!!!! So due to them doing a terrible job and messing my car up I had to get it towed and have a whole other shop put in a brand new alternator because of these people doing whatever t
